Where To Get Rid Of Old Refrigerators

Although I only have this mission once this year on the Declutter 365 calendar, it’s not a mission you do just once. Instead, treat today as a big cleaning day, but then do smaller weekly versions of this mission before heading to the grocery store to clean out old food and prep the fridge for the new food you’re bringing. With your grocery trip (I recommend doing this on garbage day or the day before your garbage day).

This is a fairly straightforward mission, but it can be very important. Finally, think about how many times a day you or a family member opens your refrigerator. I bet it’s quite a bit.

In addition, cleaning old and expired food not only makes organization easier, but is also a food safety issue. You don’t want someone eating something that’s too old and getting sick, or having rotten food in your fridge that could contaminate even the freshest food in there.
