I’ve been wondering for a long time whether I should share this story. I thought sharing this would make me look weak in the eyes of potential employers. But ultimately I think this story is who I am. If I can finish unfinished things in the past, anyone can.

I started studying more than ten years ago. I wasn’t lucky enough to change what I wanted to do in life. I didn’t want to study, but the good life my parents wanted for me. There was no real intention for me to finish university. I felt wrong, especially because it wasn’t my choice. I always work hard and put all my energy into every job. I taught myself everything that was important in my career and how I changed over time. I am happy and proud of the choices I have made, the accomplishments I have made, and the wonderful people I have met along my life’s journey. I also worked at large companies, all without a degree. Now I start from scratch.

2020 was a crazy year for all of us. In October 2019 I left my job as a teacher due to an offer as a Learning and Development Manager. In July 2020, I took time off work for work reasons. To be honest, I planned my trip a little differently. But that’s life. Even though I knew I was going to stop, it felt like nothing when it happened. I’m disappointed because we had a great project and our team worked hard to make it happen. Now this event is history.

I’ve only had 5 exams and the records are way off. Possible to do. Having 2 kids (21 months and a month, in June), I knew I would lose my job and probably run out of money, knowing that due to Covid-19 there was no guarantee of a quiet, safe place to prepare. in exams or writing reviews, it still seems possible. With the support of my wife (I love you so much!), who cares for two small children alone several days a week, I was able to do this. It’s not easy. That’s boring. It was stressful, there were days I hated my decision, our relationship was rocky, and most importantly, getting a college degree was no longer a guarantee of getting a job. But we decided to put our energy into my little project. This time I didn’t write any notes because I didn’t want to be rejected.
