Fleas have developed immunity to whatever they have done in the past. Maybe you remember your mom using plain lice and mayonnaise. Because new strains of head lice are no longer killed by these treatments, the lice are now called “super lice” because they are resistant to these treatments.

I have treated thousands of fleas at my flea center and let me tell you, I do not use over the counter flea treatments for this.

Most people struggle with fleas because they focus on killing them without giving enough thought to getting rid of them!

Just letting you know… metal combs are much better than electric combs. I generally do not recommend electric combs. But since people ask about electric combs, I thought I’d include one in my post.

This comb traps lice in a small mesh bag for easy disposal. This comb is not suitable for treating fleas, but it is suitable for checking large groups of fleas. (This is an electric comb, so I recommend reading the full review of this comb before purchasing).

Let’s get right into it… nits and flea eggs are the same thing! Don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be. In this article, the two terms (nit and knit) will be used interchangeably.

A good comb is essential for quick and thorough lice removal. The mistake many people make when trying to get rid of head lice is to spend too much energy killing the adult lice and paying too little attention to removing the nits (nits) attached to the hair.

No matter what the lice treatment box says “removes lice eggs,” the nits in the hair will inevitably come out and within a few weeks you or your child will be completely infested with lice again.

At Home Lice Treatment

If you don’t remove all lice eggs from your child’s hair, you will be surrounded by lice constantly. Maybe you are stuck in this cycle right now…

There are three reasons why flea eggs are so difficult to treat. First, flea eggs are incredibly resistant to all flea products and treatments, so they are impossible to remove. Second, they stick to the hair so they never “fall out”. Third, lice eggs have a strong protective shell around them that is impenetrable.

The best way to “kill” lice eggs is to remove them from the head, as lice eggs are resistant to chemicals, adhere to the hair and cannot be damaged. If you remove lice eggs from your hair and throw them in the trash, they won’t come out. Nits need the warmth of their heads to grow and reproduce (like a chicken lays eggs because it needs warmth to grow). Once removed from the head and heat source, lice eggs die quickly.

Removing lice eggs from hair is difficult. Anyone who has tried using the plastic combs that come with regular lice combs knows that they are useless. Most plastic combs are fragile and often break if your hair is thick. A plastic comb has teeth far enough apart that you can remove gunk even if you brush the same spot multiple times.

After using a comb with little success, many people resort to manually removing lice eggs with their fingers. Collecting cream is very time consuming, tiring and difficult work. Unfortunately, most parents spend 6 to 12 hours “purging” and think they’ve removed every fly, inevitably a few are missed, and just two flies means an endless cycle of flies. Caught again and again.

A high quality metal comb combined with an effective flea treatment product is the key to getting rid of the endless cycle of fleas. The teeth of a fly comb should be close together (no gaps between the teeth) and ideally the teeth should be spiral shaped. This shape acts like barbed wire, trapping the lice eggs and pulling them out of the hair.

This comb is the best lice comb on the market today. It removes lice and nits more effectively than any other comb. If you ask any lice removal expert, they will surely tell you that this is the comb they use. The teeth of this comb are closely spaced, but the real secret is that these teeth have tiny whorls that act as “barbed wire” on lice and nits, grabbing them, pulling them through the length of the hair, and pulling them out. Your hair.

One of the more impressive features of this comb is that even with its tight spiral teeth, it glides easily (and painlessly!) through wet hair; And it’s cheap (about the same price you’d pay for a comb at your local drugstore); it’s made entirely of metal so the clip won’t break when brushing.

Head Lice: Coping And Support

This comb has spiral teeth that create a “barbed wire” effect, catching nits and nits and quickly removing them from the hair. The comb’s handle is slightly larger and is entirely plastic rather than metal, making it easier to hold.

The tips are shorter, more flexible and more distinct than the Net Free Terminator comb. This makes the comb easier to clean, but less efficient. It’s not as good at removing nits as the Nit Free Terminator comb because the teeth are farther apart, but it’s still a great comb to use.

A flea comb has teeth very close together and removes most fleas and flea eggs in just a few swipes. Rubber grip is easy to hold. A comb is a great tool for removing lice eggs from the comb.
